On the morning of March 2, The American Lung Association of Nevada will be hosting a fund raiser. It is the association’s fifth annual “Scale the Strat” fundraiser. Funds raised will help aid in the American Lung Association’s mission of “Fighting For Air.” Both visitors and residents of Las Vegas will be able to take part in this amazing climb.
600 participants will start at the bottom of the Stratosphere and work their way up this 1,149 foot tall structure. They will start at staggering times and complete the 108 floor climb, with 1,455 steps. If you are afraid of heights, have a fear of being in small spaces, or vertigo, then this climb is not for you.
People that do not wish to take part in the climb can watch from the lobby. If you can’t attend this climb, there are many more throughout the year. And if you have always wanted to climb this staircase, then why not do it for charity?
